Club Professional

Resort Professional

As a Resort Tennis Professional, you'll infuse energy into teaching tennis to guests of all ages and abilities. From basics to advanced tactics, provide customized lessons that meet individual goals, all within a fun and lively resort atmosphere. Your enthusiasm will make every session memorable and effective for every player.

Head Professional

As a Head Professional, you'll oversee tennis instruction programs, combining hands-on teaching with strategic planning and team leadership. You'll refine lesson plans, manage scheduling and resources, and ensure a club's offerings meet the diverse needs of its members and guests.

  • Morning Sessions: Start your day with group and private lessons for adult players looking to improve their skills and technique on the court. Whether refining their shot placement or mastering advanced strategies, you’ll be expected to provide personalized instruction to help each player reach their full potential.
  • Afternoon Junior Programs: In the afternoon, you will focus on junior tennis programs, leading fun and interactive sessions for young players eager to learn and grow. From teaching fundamentals to organizing friendly competitions, you’ll inspire a new generation of tennis enthusiasts with your passion and knowledge of the game. 
  • Evening Adult Classes: In the evenings, most clubs transition to adult classes and clinics, where you’ll work with players of all levels in lively and engaging group sessions. Whether introducing beginners to the basics of tennis or challenging advanced players with strategic drills, you’ll create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for players to enjoy and improve their game.
  • Administrative Tasks: Between coaching sessions, you’ll have time to handle administrative tasks such as lesson planning, player evaluations, and communication with club members. You’ll also collaborate with club staff to coordinate upcoming events, promotions, and other initiatives to enhance your members’ and guests’ tennis experience.
  • Weekends: While weekends are typically busy with group classes and private lessons, they also provide opportunities for special events, tournaments, and social gatherings that further enrich the tennis community and strengthen relationships with players and club members.
  • Time Off: Tennis coaches in the USA typically work five to six days per week.
